Pterodactil is your solution to enjoy an adventure sport in the skies, on land or in the water in the Sierra del Montsec and its swamps , in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida.

We have routes through the heights in one of the best areas to fly in Europe due to its thermal currents:

• Hot air balloon: We will soar through the skies with a pause and carefully contemplating the peculiar orography of this region.

• Paragliding: Flying in paragliding we will feel as we float through the skies over the swamps and gorges.

• Ultralight: In our two-seater tandem and through courses the ultralight will have no secrets for you.

The waters of the Canelles and Camarasa swamps are furrowed on canoes with several seats in calm waters.

And hiking will allow us to see everything on the roads and paths that surround and enter these lands.

Less than 1 hour from Lleida you have the wild nature of this area of the Pyrenees so that you know it in depth.

The marshes of the Àger Valley serve as the ideal environment for canoeing on calm and peaceful waters among a landscape of steep mountains and narrow gorges that make up the Sierra de Montsec, in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida.

The canoes have a maximum occupancy of 5 people, with a paddle paddle with which to propel themselves through the water. With a little instruction we will be able to navigate peacefully and with ease through the swamps.

We move in the waters of the Canelles and Camarasa swamps , and we draw the following routes:

• Montrebei Gorge: We visit the most spectacular place in the swamp where the mountains are compressed leaving just a small step, the only one that was traditionally to pass towards Lleida.

• Fet and Montfalcó: Through the Canelles reservoir visiting villages abandoned due to the construction of the dam that gave rise to the reservoir.

• Finestres: Rock spiers that make up a kind of very curious mountain range are the gateway to this uninhabited population also because of the swamp.

The walks will be carried out equipped with wetsuits except in summer, being able to simply wear bathing clothes.

Children can come as long as they have the company of an adult.

From The Pterodactil we offer you the possibility of enjoying an exciting two-seater flight aboard a paraglider piloted by one of our monitors. Lovers of the sensation of flying will enjoy this activity to the fullest in the Àger valley and the Sierra de Montsec , in the lower Pyrenees of Lleida.

In a flight of between 20 and 30 minutes , accompanied by a certified two-seater pilot, the Àger Valley is flown over Llega. This flight allows the passenger to experience the sensation of free flight without having to learn to fly a paraglider.

You can carry out tandem tandem flights with us as well as training courses that will be your springboard to become an expert in paragliding.

In this process of learning the flight technique, we believe it is essential to involve and pursue institutional, private and social recognition and support throughout the area of this Lleida valley. In this way, we can continue with this teaching work.

After a small impression on takeoff, the feeling of freedom and peace are the most characteristic of this type of flight.

Come and take a romantic balloon ride through the most valleys and swamps of ilerdenses in one of the most benign areas in all of Europe for the balloon flight thanks to the existing thermal currents.

The swamps and rivers that bathe the canyons of the Montsec mountain range and the curious geological formations that we will see are a spectacle worth witnessing aboard a hot air balloon.

From Àger we will inflate the balloon and climb high enough to see the entire region at a glance in a journey of approximately 1 hour.

We will descend to the same starting point participating in the disassembly of the balloon and celebrating the experience with champagne.

A diploma and a CD with the best snapshots of the flight will be the best memories of this beautiful walk through the heights.

Up to 8 people can climb on our balloons, in an activity suitable for everyone, as long as they do not suffer from much vertigo.

In The Pterodactil we propose a flight through the Àger valley and the Sierra del Montsec in 30 minutes aboard an ultralight. The lower Lleida Pyrenees many meters above the ground.

The thermal currents that we find in the Montsec mountain range favor the flight of ultralights, being one of the best areas in Europe .

We are less than 1 hour from the capital of Lleida , in an enclave full of canyons, valleys, rivers and peaks that form an area of great natural value.

We take off from the track installed in Àger and pass over the Canelles reservoir, the Montrebei gorge and the Santa Ana reservoir.

Later we will fly over places of the Noguera Alta, seeing swamps such as Camarasa or Terradets and returning while we cross the Montsec.

The ultralights are arranged to accommodate 2 seats.

Narrow gorges, mountain-shaped rock needles, long and sinuous swamps ... And a long list of geographical features, all of them very different and attractive in the Sierra del Montsec and the Àger Valley in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida . In walking routes you can see the beauty and strength of this land.

We have designed several routes for hiking through this rugged Catalan region, with lengths and slopes that vary according to the requirement of each hiker.

Our itineraries:

• Route through the Montrebei gorge: Natural border between Aragon and Catalonia, this pass between mountains is a true geological spectacle. We have three ways to get there, being able to extend the activity from 2 am to 7 am.

• Route to Pla de les Bruixes: In the past, a common place to celebrate covens. From the hermitage of Sant Llobí we will walk around 1 hour on an enigmatic journey.

• Route through the Roman road in full moon: An excursion that takes place at night, after having dinner, visiting the remains of the Roman road that communicated Àger with Lleida. We will finish with a drink in Àger.

The routes that take place during the day include breakfast in addition to the essential company of the guide who will illustrate us about the environment.
