Escuela de Parapente Alarilla

Our paragliding school located in Alarilla, province of Guadalajara , is the right place for you to try this very natural type of flight that takes you through the air, providing you with a different view than what you have under your feet.

We make the departure and arrival of the flights at the top of Cerro de la Muela , a privileged location that dominates this Alcarreña region. We will see the plain of Henares, the witness hills of Alarilla and its tusk, the famous hill of Hita or the Muela itself from which we jump as well as the Pico Ocejón already further away.

You can opt for one of these two types of flight :

• Paragliding : The force of the wind and currents is the engine that takes us through the skies.

• Paramotor : More comfortable mode that has an engine as impulse and in which we are seated, which makes takeoff very easy.

We have introductory courses and flight baptism with which you will obtain an accrediting diploma.

The duration of the courses consist of at least 6 days and 10 flights.

Feel yourself floating through the air and how the currents carry you up on a paraglider . They are flights in which we take advantage of the thermal currents as if it were a bird, guiding the paraglider at a height sufficient to have privileged views.

Our paragliding flights begin and end at the top of the witness hill of La Muela, near Alarilla in Guadalajara . We move through the plain of Henares between moors, millstones and fertile areas of cultivation.

To do paragliding you can choose between :

• Autonomous flights in which you can go only when you have completed your training.

• Two-seater or tandem flights that you can do whenever you want because they are carried out together with a pilot.

The tandem flights accompanied by a monitor are the best ones to start paragliding. You will only have to see how we rise and fly over the Alcarria, leaving the control to the monitor.

The duration of the passage through the air lasts about 20 minutes , and can be extended to 30.

If it is the first time that you get on a paraglider, we will give you a diploma that certifies your baptism of flight .

Try the sensations that are experienced flying with a paramotor while you relax and enjoy the views. We fly from Alarilla , in the province of Guadalajara , less than 1 hour from Madrid.

The paramotor is a more controllable and comfortable paragliding modality since thanks to its built-in motor it allows us a less expensive impulse and a more controlled course in the air.

The takeoff is done sitting on the trike, which is a very comfortable start unlike the paraglider.

From the hill of La Muela we gain momentum and we throw ourselves through the Henares valley and its witness hills that form a very peculiar landscape of millstones, tusks and gullies resulting from the erosion of clay.

The Henares river, the Alcarreños de la Vega villages or the Pico Ocejón with its more than 2,000 meters are some of the geographical elements that we can see.

The duration of the flights is usually 20 or 30 minutes, usually.

Paramotoring allows everyone to practice it from 15 years old , it does not require a special physical condition.
