Not your usual tourist attraction. An old fishing boat with a fisher straight out of casting. Get up at 5:00 am to meet the captain/owner Jose.... he speaks just enough English to get by. We speak almost no Spanish. Despite all that TRIP AND FEEL is a great attraction for people wanting to learn a bit about the local traditional culture. The boat trip out was too long... probably depends where they dad dropped there nets the previous day, but the rest was FASCINATING!! Watching the nets being pulled in, and watching the fishers remove the catch.... probably 10+ species from 2 sting rays to many squid, etc. Captain Jose happy to answer question and let you get involved with the process. A lifelong memory for dad, mom, and teen.
