El Nou Hipic

The Nou Hípic is the most complete center for learning to ride a horse that you can find in Girona . We have a wide range of courses and routes on horseback with which you will enjoy your free time in a different way and optimizing every second.

- Horse riding routes: for all levels. Whether you have never ridden a horse or you are an expert, at El Nou Hípic we have the right route for you. Some of these tours include a lunch in our restaurant consisting of two courses, water, bread and dessert.
In our bar we cook homemade food with very healthy and high quality products. On summer days you can go out to have food on our large terrace and in winter stay inside our building in the warmth of the fireplace.

- Urban camps: do not miss any of the events that take place in our facilities, from games with ponies , to learning how to care for a horse. In the equestrian camps, children will learn to interact with these animals and take care of them, in addition to knowing the most basic techniques of equestrianism.

- Bar and Restaurant: Terrace with views and typical products of the area.

At El Nou Hípic we propose a wide variety of routes adapted to all ages and levels so that you can enjoy a horse ride, whether you are a beginner or an expert in it:

- Eat and Ride: the one-hour routes are perfect to try for the first time getting on a horse and taking a ride with it. In this route, in addition to including the horse and the protective helmet, you will also be given a meal in our restaurant. The menu is very complete, including first course, second course, drink, bread and dessert.

- Pony Games: with this route you will not only ride on top of a pony, but you will also play a series of games in which you will have to overcome challenges, thus preparing yourself for any type of horse riding training and any terrain.

- 1 hour route: for those who wish to ride a horse quietly enjoying the views of Llanars.

- Two-hour route: from the age of eight, one can sign up for this route. We will go through the most famous valleys of Llanars. For this itinerary it is necessary to have previous experience in horseback riding.

- 5-hour route: long-distance ride for which previous horse riding experience is required.

At El Nou Hípic children will be able to have an unparalleled experience with our horses and ponies .

In the equestrian camps that we organize we teach them to respect and love these animals by learning to live and work with them. Not only will they know how to ride a horse, but they will also have a more empathetic view of the world around them.

The activities they will learn will be:

- Brushing the horse's hair: gaining the horse's trust by showing your love and your desire to take care of this animal.

-Cleaning: of the horse and its area of stay.

- Preparation and conservation of the material: keep the protective helmet and other equestrian equipment in perfect condition and clean.

- Driving and riding: equestrian classes and horse routes with which they will learn to guide these animals and to ride them without any problem.

Children from 5 years old can attend these camps and the age limit is up to 16 . The monitor will guide them during each day and will teach them to do each and every one of the activities.
