Madrid Green Nature is a company located in the Madrid neighborhood of Lavapiés, in an area very well connected with public transport. We are a company dedicated to eco - family leisure, that is, we are dedicated to organizing environmental leisure activities for children and families.

Our main objective is to awaken in our participants an ecological awareness and a love for nature that promotes environmental conservation. To do this we have a team of biologists, educators, social workers and free time monitors who are in charge of designing activities and workshops to work on different values.

Our activity can be summarized in five points:

• Classroom teaching: we go to schools to give talks designed especially for a school audience.

• Teaching in nature: whether as a family or with groups of children their age, your children will be able to learn about the flora and fauna of a certain area in situ. li>

• Workshops and conferences: we will work on different aspects of nature in our classroom - workshop doing crafts, teamwork or observing the environment.

• Camps: we will take advantage of school holidays and weekends to discover some of the most beautiful landscapes around Madrid and learn from them.

• Celebrations and events: celebrate your birthday or other special occasions by doing one of our activities. You will have a great time!

At Madrid Green Nature we focus on environmental education as a form of leisure for the whole family, also adapting the activities we organize to schools.

Among our urban camps and workshops are the nature gymkhanas that we do in Madrid's El Retiro Park. During the week it is open to schools while on Saturdays and Sundays it is aimed at parents and children.

Regarding the age of minor participants, they must be at least 5 years old and a maximum of 11. You will find them from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Puerta Herrero Palacios, which is accessed from Avenida Menéndez Pelayo, at number 65.
Some of the topics we will address will be orientation methods through games, the exploration of the plants that make up the park, what renewable energies are like and what they consist of, what animals live in the Retiro and what main ecosystems exist.

Each of the activities is under the coordination of a monitor who will also provide the teaching materials that we will use, especially for the crafts included in each workshop at the end of it.

At Madrid Green Nature we are concerned about the environment and that is why we work to offer excursions that take place from an educational point of view. Through them we make known the natural environment in which we live, aware that knowledge is the basic tool for its conservation.

These visits:

- They are carried out in areas close to Madrid so that our routes are always accessible to everyone who wants to come and participate in our activities.

- They are aimed at all ages and audiences, distinguishing between schools and families. We do recommend a minimum age of 5 years for those activities that include some type of workshop or craft.

- They are done with monitors who will act as guides. Not only will they guide us along the planned itinerary, but they will also explain the characteristics of the environment to us. We will also be able to delve deeper into the ecosystem to which it belongs or how to orient ourselves with our own means to know where we are in an open natural space.

Some of our excursions are provided without leaving the city in areas such as El Retiro Park.
