Balloon Flight Guadix + Breakfast

Sometimes it might seem that activities like balloon flights are things that only happen far from here, in locations like Turkish Cappadocia or some North American park like Yellowstone /strong>. But, nothing could be further from the truth, in Spain there are various points where you can make an impressive balloon flight.

One of them, possibly one of the most spectacular on the Peninsula, is the one we did in Guadix, on the border with the Sierra Nevada station. Throughout an hour-long tour, you will have the opportunity to take out your camera and press the button repeatedly, of course the landscapes lend themselves to it.

In addition, the special conditions of this region highlight an obvious fact: we will be able to rise to heights above 2,000 meters of altitude, but, at the same time, our pilot is also fond of flights at ground level, those that take place almost skimming the treetops.

We will fly over certain places of interest in the region such as the cárcavas, these stone reliefs that remind us of the lunar landscape of Turkey, the highest peaks of Sierra Nevada that, in winter, we can find them totally whitish due to snowfall. Likewise, we will cross Guadalix and its cathedral, the cave neighborhoods, the alcazaba and the mines of Alquife, the largest open-pit iron mine on the Old Continent.

After the experience, a surprise awaits you: a breakfast to finish off the job in the best possible way. oh! and an accrediting diploma that certifies that, indeed, you have made the flight.
