Do you fancy spending a day like an Eskimo? This is your chance then, come to the Pyrenees, more specifically to the surroundings of Grandvalira ski resort, and enjoy building an igloo with your own hands in the white-covered forests of the Moreto valley. Try to put ice block after ice block in order to get the perfect shape for your new refuge. We will give you 1 hour and a half to bring up to live this practise, common in the arctic lifestyle.

In the countries that are close to the poles, it is very common that some Eskimo communities live in this ice-built houses. Although it might not seem possible, this is a very isolating material that inside of which we can reach a temperature of up to 16 degrees celsius.

Once we arrive to the starting point, one of our instructors will also step in a your guide and provide you with the necessary materials to do this activity, and will share with you the characteristics of these houses, and how to make use of them depending on their shape. He or she will also guide your building and give us a hand whenever you need it.

Once you finish, you will be able to enter and exit the igloo, and enjoy the atmosphere of peace that will take over you inside of it. The white-covered landscapes and the huge pine-tree groves will take you back to the other side of the world.

Remember that you will be in direct contact with the snow, which means that we recommend that you bring waterproof and thermal clothes. Oh and, don't forget your gloves!
