Canyoning in the Pedras river beginner level

Do you want to learn canyoning? In this induction canyon in the Pedras river, you'll be able to prove that practicing this sport is easier than you think, you only have to dare to descend without fear!

The Pedras river flows into the Arousa estuary, with incredible landscapes that you can see from the highest point of Mount A Curota. The canyon has abundant vegetation, descents of waterfalls of up to 20 meters (note that crossing them isn't compulsory), and a final slide that you can descend as many times as you want.

The meeting place will be the village of Pobra do Caramiñal, at 50 km from Pontevedra, and at 60 km from Santiago de Compostela. With a professional instructor, you'll leave for a journey that will last approximately 4 hours, depending on the pace of your group.

The groups must have a maximum of 10 people, otherwise, it would take a long time to make each descent. The technical and physical level is low, aimed at all beginners who do not have knowledge of canyoning or abseiling.

We'll provide you with all the necessary equipment: helmet, harness, ropes, neoprene wetsuit of one or two pieces, and neoprene socks. Don't forget to wear sports, trekking or canyoning shoes to protect you from cold, chafing or slips.
