Medium level canyoning with photos in Río Cerves

Encourage yourself to perform canyoning in the river Cerves, where the famous canyon of Melón or Cerves becomes one of the most famous places for this type of activity. At medium level and located in Galicia, this canyon has extraordinary sightings and settings, it is well known for some reason!

Cerves is a tributary of the river Miño, and it is starts in Serra do Suido. The meeting point with the professional instructor will be in the village of Melón located just 30 minutes far from Ourense and 45 minutes far from Vigo.

The groups should be a maximum of 10 people to avoid long waits in the descents and you should have performed abseiling before due to it displays a medium-high technical level, depending on the river flow, although it doesn't mean a great physical level.

It will be necessary the use of ropes, harness and helmet, because we will provide you something like neoprene (with one or two pieces) and neoprene socks. You should wear trekking shoes in case of rain, and very comfortable so you avoid slipping.

We will go down with different leaps up to 3 abseiling, depending on the section we perform and it will depend on the group, schedules, climate, ... The time we need to perform this descent is approximately 4 hours, although it will depend on the rhythm of your group.
