Descent of the Buitreras Canyon in Colmenar 7h

We have a canyoning route in the heart of Los Alcornocales Natural Park, in the canyon of Las Buitreras following the course of the Guadiaro river, in the Málaga's town of Colmenar. A perfect plan to debut in this daring sport since it is a initiation ravine, but with constant challenges that will raise your adrenaline levels to the maximum.

Our canyoning route will begin early, at 9 in the morning, to take advantage of every minute of our day of adventure in the middle of nature, as we will be undertaking a canyoning of 6 to 7 hours of the journey, so we will be finishing around 5 in the afternoon.

Countless moments of fun await us descending the canyon of the Buitreras, as it is a natural amusement park. We will start with a 40-minute walk along a forest path that will lead us to the Puente de los Alemanes. From here, we can see the beginning of our canyoning route.

Our start of the descent will be through narrow channels surrounded by walls that are more than 100 meters high and we will spend most of the time swimming through the water course. We will run into fun slides and natural pools, we will find large walls and slopes to overcome and we will ride a rappel rope to descend in the most exciting way possible. Although the best comes at the end, when we will reach a 200 meter lake named "La Playita" or "El Nacimiento".

For the descent of the Buitreras canyon you will only have to bring food, drink and change to change, including shoes, because it is an aquatic ravine. For our part they will run: 3-millimeter booties, 2-piece wetsuits of 5 millimeters each, helmet, harness with PVC seat, carabiner and of course, an expert monitor.
