Description of Canyoning in Somosierra 4 hours
A unique experience just 45 minutes from the city of Madrid.
This is a ravine descent to remember in which we will find rappels up to 30 meters high and a 9-meter slide. These two delights are the highlights of this beautiful canyoning route.
We will meet the guide in the Alto de Somosierra, within the town of Somosierra. Here the guide will tell us what we are going to do in the activity, and the necessary material to carry out the descent will be distributed (complete wetsuit, helmet, harness, booties, the eight and the carabiner) and so that the development of the same is complete.
For canyoning, it is necessary to wear boots or sports shoes (no flip flops or water shoes), and we recommend bringing a spare pair of shoes so that when you get to the car you can change them, since the ones used in the >ravine they will be wet.
The ravine has an approach of 30 minutes. From the top of it we will begin the descent, thanks to the instructions of our guide who will ensure us in all the rappels.
A 9 meter slide between the second and third rappel will make the most frenetic part of this canyoning route.
*If you want to enjoy the 35 meter rappelling you must have previous experience in mountain, climbing or rappelling activities as it is highly difficult. The experience must be demonstrable
