Get ready for caving! The approach to the cavity of Cayuela, in Cantabria, covers a respectable slope through an Atlantic forest of great beauty.
The 5-hour visit covers the West Gallery of the cave, of enormous dimensions, the Las Gateras area, of smaller size with some narrow passage and some descents and the Boulevard area, with large galleries, very comfortable to walk without difficulty. All this forming an intermediate level caving route, ideal for a full-sport excursion without the need to be in high physical condition.
From the beginning of the tour you will be surprised by its large opening to access. In addition, you will face an 8-meter rappel, a handrail and several narrow tunnels. The approach to the cave will take about 25 minutes, while the return will take a quarter of an hour.
