Caving Los Gours Coventosa picnic and photos

One of the underground wonders that you can find in the Coventosa cave, in Cantabria, are the Gours.

If The Ghosts (another part of the cave) are the geological spectacle of Coventosa, the Gours is the great adventure through the complex of large and voluminous galleries that we go through until we reach them.

The adventure begins with a first rappel of 12 metres. From here we will have another 2 rappels, a walk down through the great room of the decline to the great canyon, where we discover the enormous size that this cavity hides.

We will continue on comfortable terrain to the river access handrail to do one last rappel and go to the spectacular entrance to Les Gours.

The return is made along the same route until we reach the decline where we will take another different gallery to do another rappel and climb the ladder that will facilitate the exit.

We can meet at the base or directly at the entrance of the cave (we will send you the exact location so you don't have any problems getting there).

You will have to come with warm and comfortable clothes, as well as thick socks. Also bring clothes to change into later (you will get dirty). Do not wear earrings or rings, so as not to risk losing them. If the day is rainy, bring a raincoat or umbrella.

When carrying out this experience, it will be necessary to form a group of 4 people.
