Enter the world of climbing with this mountain activity for beginners, in La Pedriza. In approximately 8 hours you will enjoy an addictive sport that you will undoubtedly want to repeat again. And, with the help of one of our qualified technicians, you will discover the secrets that make this exercise one of the most followed.
The adventure begins at 9:00 a.m. in our center in Madrid. There we will give you all the necessary material for the activity: ropes, carabiners, tapes, harnesses and helmets. Afterwards, we will drive by car to the town of Soto del Real. There is the possibility of meeting us directly on site at 10:00 am.
We will begin by walking for about 20 minutes next to the Mediano Chico river until we reach the place where we will climb: Las Placas de la Coja, a batholith about 35 meters high. There we will practice the different basic techniques and maneuvers used to progress in the second or top-rope mode.
As it is a baptism course, it is not necessary that you have previous experience of this type. What is intended is that you make a first contact with this world and, if you like it, you continue learning. Go ahead and come have a good time!
