With the Rescue Diver course you can obtain a certification that allows you to respond in situations of emergency when other divers need you.
On this course you prepare you to be able to intervene in an efficient and decisive manner in emergency situations or while evacuating wounded divers.
During the Rescue Diver course you will learn all the necessary steps to take in case of emergency and you will broaden your experience as a diver.
What do you need in order to participate?
Our facilities are located in Madrid in the Las Rozas area. To perform the open air session we will travel to the coast of Altea.
On this course you prepare you to be able to intervene in an efficient and decisive manner in emergency situations or while evacuating wounded divers.
During the Rescue Diver course you will learn all the necessary steps to take in case of emergency and you will broaden your experience as a diver.
What do you need in order to participate?
- To be at least 16 years old.
- To have a CPR course completed.
- To have the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
- To have executed at least 20 dives.
- Theory classes where we teach you how to use the emergency oxygen equipment
- 1 confined water session (with exercises and simulations)
- 4 open water dives from the beach where we do rescue exercises and simulations of real cases.
Our facilities are located in Madrid in the Las Rozas area. To perform the open air session we will travel to the coast of Altea.

How long the activity lasts
The approximate duration of the course is 4 days, 2 days in Madrid and 2 days in Altea.
When your activity starts and finishes
Weekend in Madrid: Saturday 10:00-14:00, Sunday 10:00-14:00 and 15:30-18:00. Weekend in Altea: Saturday and Sunday 8:30-13:00.
