PADI Open Water Diver La Dragonera Natural Park

PADI Open Water Diver is the most international and known course among the different varieties of scuba diving certifications. With it, you can scuba dive with a companion in any place you want since once you finish the course, you will be a connoisseur of the basic scuba diving techniques, its material, and safety measures.

Why do you need to get the Open Water Diver? 

Well, easy, because with this certification, you can do immersions independently with any scuba diver (who is also certified under the formation of the PADI programme). 

In any center, you can rent all the scuba diving material, use compressed air to refill your oxygen bottles - if you have your own equipment - and, for course, enjoy all the scuba diving trips that a lot of companies carry out. 

Also, this certification will give the possibility of passing to the next level on scuba diving formation, and that is Advanced Open Water. 

This scuba diving course divides into three parts: 

- You will have your first class in a pool or in shallow beaches, divided into 5 parts. You will practice, step by step, all the scuba diving exercises until you feel comfortable to enter deeper waters. 
-Instructions in the high seas - divided into 4 parts -. We will repeat the same exercises, but in confined waters or in the beach, and... Underwater. 
-You will also receive all the theoretical classes that consist of 5 necessary modules to be able to obtain the certification. 

The requirements to carry out PADI OWD with our school are: 

• To be at least 10 years old and have a parent's authorization. 
• Know how to swim.
• Medical certification that allows you to scuba dive. 

IMPORTANT: The PADI certification has an extra cost of 44€, and with it, you can scuba dive all over the world.
