Description of Bread & enology workshop Villanueva los InfantesIf you want to have a different day and learn about gastronomy, come to Villanueva de los Infantes. We will be waiting for you with a bread baking workshop with oenology and we will show you how to make our typical local cakes and pastries. A 2 hours and a half experience for the most exquisite palates.
The activity will take place in a place with lots of history, a 60-year-old bakery. Here you will meet with the expert who will guide us in our creation and explain the ins and outs of the perfect large loaf.
First, and following in the footsteps of the head baker, we will make our own dough. While fermenting we will enjoy a traditional pastry tasting with some glasses of "mistela", a special beverage that is not exactly like a wine, but all its ingredients do come from it.
Finally, once the dough is ready, we will proceed to put it in the wood-fired oven. Once it has finished baking, we will be able to smell and taste some of the bread rolls we will have made with our own hands, we assure you that they taste much better than most!
