Description of Private guided tour of Granada, destination of your choice
There is a lot of difference between going to Granada and getting to know it. This magical city hides secrets in every corner and its streets are a great museum where history lives every day. Therefore, since you have in mind visiting one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, why not do it through a guided tour that will answer all those curiosities that will arise while you walk through the different neighborhoods of the famous capital of the old Nasrid kingdom.
Through an exclusive private guided route for groups of up to 20 people, you will learn the ins and outs of the main areas of the city center. For almost 3 hours you will be able to follow the instructions and stories that a guide will tell you about the history hidden in each monument, street, palace or neighborhood.
During this tour, you will be able to agree with the guide which areas you most want to see or in what order, although if you are not very sure about the main points that represent the historical heritage of the city, your guide will offer you the possibility of doing different routes like:
Historic center route:
This route begins in the Plaza Bib-Rambla or Plaza de las Flores, known as Bibarrambla by the people of Granada. A space that has been adapting to each era. We will visit the Alcaicería, where small artisan shops make their way around the Granada cathedral, which we will later visit. From the great basilica built during the 17th century, we will walk through the different streets of the alhóndiga until we reach the foot of the famous Albaicín neighborhood.
During the walk we will cross narrow streets, markets, popular squares and if we still have the strength, we can go up to one of the viewpoints. On this route you can also walk through the most visited streets of the city such as Elvira Street, Gran Vía or Reyes Católicos Avenue, where the city is most alive.
Albaicín-Sacromonte Route:
On this route you will begin by crossing the Bridge of the Sads until you reach the Albaicín, one of the jewels of the city. This medieval Arab neighborhood is full of steep streets covered with cobblestones that are seemingly impassable, but whose beauty will make their difficulty unimportant.
This neighborhood has become a bohemian place where authors and painters go to find inspiration. Its houses are unique and its views of the city are a must-see for anyone passing through the capital. In the heart of this neighborhood is the San Nicolás viewpoint, a privileged balcony for its views of the Alhambra.
StillNext to the Albaicín neighborhood is the Sacromonte neighborhood, known as the gypsy neighborhood, where its people show themselves in the purest way. Neighborhoods wheresinging and dancing are the protagonists and that protect the basilica of Sacromonte. In this area you can enjoy the views and long walks near the greenest area of Granada.
These are the two private guided tour options that we propose, so choose the one that best suits you and our experienced guide will take you to know Granada in a special way. TeaWe hope!We hope!
