Description of Visiting the Timanfaya volcanoHave you heard the legend of Timanfaya? It tells the story of a couple who were getting married on a nearby hill. The volcano erupted just after the "Yes, I do." The bride got trapped under a rock while all the terrified guests were trying to run away. The friends and family of the groom were trying to save him, but he loved his wife so much that he looked for a magic trident that was hidden in the area and gathering all his strength, he lifted up the rock. Almost 500 houses were destroyed by the eruption of the volcano that decided to wake up and ruin the wedding. Shortly after, a few survivors found a petrified young man who was holding a maiden in his arms and a beautiful trident in his hand.
