Hiking ascent to Lies peak 8 hours

If you want to live a restorative experience in the middle of nature, on a day of hiking for 8 hours of duration while you breathe the unmistakable fresh air of the mountains, this is your route.

The Pico de Mentiras peak is part of the Calares del Mundo y la Sima nature reserve, a beautiful place for its Manchego landscapes and for the immense diversity that hide their places, adjacent to  Andalucía.

The route begins in the village of Collado Tornero and from the first moment you will notice the constant ascending route that exists until the Pico Mentiras. There is a break in an existing fracture in the mountain, perfect to take a break and taking breath for the last stretch.

Although you can go more direct, it is worthwhile to cross the Banderas peak, more than 1,800 metres high, for its incredible views.

You will know the 3 highest mountains in the province of Albacete: Las Cabras, El Mentiras and El Almenaras. Despite the effort involved, it is worth this tour because of the beauty of its formations. You will not regret it.
