Horseback riding in La Portilla 1h (1-6 pax)

Welcome to the world of equestrian tourism, a world that is growing by leaps and bounds. An alternative to enjoy nature in a totally new way that allows us to observe the splendid municipality of Valle de Losa from a different perspective.

This introductory activity, suitable for beginners, consists of a pleasant ride on the back of our well-behaved, trained horses for an hour in the vicinity of Junta de Traslaloma.

Throughout it we will be constantly surrounded by huge fields and rows of wheat fields. Our set objective is to reach the town of Portilla, walk around it and contemplate the castle and the rock in the distance, without losing sight of it as we return to the complex. We can also take pictures with her.

Beforehand, in order to facilitate trust with the horses, we teach a brief riding exercise on the track that will help us to strengthen our balance, ease and establish contact with our horse. After this lesson, we will leave the track mounted on horseback and head down the road.

On the other hand, the activity can be carried out even if it is cold, rainy or snowy if a client requests it. The minimum age that we have set to take the excursion is 12 years if you have previous equestrian knowledge and 14 years if you do not. It is strongly advised to wear tight jeans or tights and sturdy shoes, including boots, suitable for the field.
