Horseback riding through the Sierra del Viento and picnic

It's time to ride towards a new adventure and explore our horseback route through the Sierra del Viento. You will discover a wonderful Sevillian landscape that you would not have imagined while you enjoy an exciting ride on a horse departing from our estate in Guadalcanal.

For this adventure you do not need horse riding knowledge since our instructors will explain everything you need to know to be able to do the route on horseback before leaving, also providing you with the protective helmet and telling you the route to follow.

You will enjoy an incredible 2-hour route among the paths of theSierra del Viento. You will reach the highest point while you ride along the Cerro de la Capitana reaching 959 meters high that become a charming viewpoint of the Northern Sierra of Seville . Being accompanied by one of our riders will not only give you security but also knowledge about the environment full of curiosities.

From the horse you will see unimaginable places that are part of the Sevillian mountains. In it you will find the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park, formed by the Guadiana and Guadalquivir rivers that are protected by the Sierra de Grana and the San Miguel mountain range. You will enjoy from a distance the beauty of Hamapega Peak which reaches 910 meters high and will undoubtedly leave you impressed.

Thanks to one of our best guides you will learn part of the history that this mountain range has experienced. It will accompany you to discover an astronomical observatory from the 80s, the Castillo de la Reina, a most medieval place and the Ermita del Cristo which is located at the beginning of the route. At the end of the route, we will give you a complete picnic while you rest from the horseback riding excursion.

And to put the finishing touch to the equestrian experience, once we return to the farm, we will have a snack prepared to regain energy and discuss the most special moments we have just had.
