Horse riding route Assut de Lledó 10 km 2 hours

The province of Tarragona has, without a doubt, an infinite number of activities to do in its outdoors. One of the most requested ones are its horse riding routes. If you want to check why, you just have to sign up for our horseback riding tour through the natural surroundings of Assut de Lledó. We will take you through a 2-hour tour in which you will cross rivers and move among the autochthonous vegetation of these Catalan lands.

In order to establish a connection with the horse that will be assigned to you, the day will start with a small cleaning of the horse to saddle it afterwards. With everything ready, you will ride the equine and a professional instructor will give you a short class to learn how to ride the animal. Therefore, no experience on your side will be necessary.

The perfect activity to enjoy with your family, we will start the tour from our farm in Horta de San Joan and head off towards the Algar river. After overcoming this section, we will the move onto l'Assut de Lledó. Once there, we will return by the Greenway in an approximate route of 4 kilometres. You will have the opportunity of visiting the old station of Lledó.

Halfway into the tour, we will make a stop and take the opportunity to have a soft drink. Also, anyone who wants to, will be able to take their personalised photos to take a nice souvenir of the experience before we start our journey back to the farm.

Once in our facilities, you will unsaddle and wash the horse and then release it with the rest of the herd. Performing these activities will help you truly connect with these fabulous animals and understand their lifestyle a bit more.
