Kayak tour 1 hour from Gijón harbour

If you thought that aquatic activities were reduced only to the most popular and crowded coasts in Spain, you were wrong. In the Asturian city of Gijón, we have great beaches for all kinds of water sports and we want you to check it out by renting one of our kayaks and exploring the main spots of these coasts.

Being a small vessel and quite easy to handle, you will not need experience to rent it. In addition, an instructor will give you a brief theoretical introduction before you start so you can go navigating being prepared with the basic knowledge.

In this way, equipped with the life jacket, your paddle and your kayak, you can start your marine adventure that will set sail from the Port of Gijón. You can ask us which areas can be more beautiful and curious for you to visit. Very close to the port is the sculpture Elogio del Horizonte, which can be seen from the sea.

If you like to paddle and you can keep a good pace, at the time you will be on the kayak, you can reach different points. For example, the Poniente Beach, Punta Peña del Cuervo or, further away, San Lorenzo Beach. In all of them you will find a unique coastal charm.
