Description of Kayaking trip in Guadalquivir to RoperaWith this kayaking route, you will have the option of going from the Roman bridge of Andújar, in the Guadalquivir river to the other bridge located in the small village of La Ropera, near the river Jándula. You will sail for a minimum of 3 hours and with a group of between 7 to 20 people on a kayak boat expedition lead by an instructor who knows this area perfectly, and who will interpret it for you.
Before this expedition starts, he or she will give you some advice about how to sort out some of the obstacles that you will encounter on the route that invade the river course and make this a more challenging kayaking trip.
Here you will be able to see for yourself the true natural paradise that the province of Jaén's countryside is. During it, you will be able to observe a great variety of water birds depending on the time of the year you join us on this trip. You will also be delighted by the unique views o the landscape that this area offers as we cross the trees of this Mediterranean forest area.
On our return trip, we will have a picnic with a variety of typical local dishes of Andújar in the famous place known as the "canto". This meal will include some salty pastries and bread, with some Spanish cured ham or cod on the side, depending on the time of the year. The perfect bite to recharge your batteries after this exciting route.
