Survival camp Mestanza Puente December

If you've got nothing to do on December's long weekend come have fun with us to our fantastic multi-adventure camp in Valle de Alcudia and Sierra Madrona. It's a natural setting located in Castilla La Mancha. On this camp, you'll be able to develop all the skills needed to survive easily in a location in the middle of nature. You'll learn all of this using the techniques that our instructors will teach you.

Our departure spot will be in Mestanza's city hall, in Ciudad Real. We'll hit the road to El Valle de Alcudia, leaving small villages like La Viñuela o La Bienvenida behind. Once we're in the valley, you'll be able to contemplate the great variety of vegetation in the area and you'll be impressed by its big mountain formations.

You'll be doing the following activities, which will all be conducted by our instructors:

• Night and day sense of direction: with this activity, you'll learn to orientate yourself in different points of our natural setting. Naturally, you'll achieve this without any technology, not even a compass.
• Technology applied to survival: this is a unique workshop in Spain where you'll learn to use your phone in emergency situations, you'll be able to charge it, find nearby boosters...
• Tool workshop: we'll make tools that we'll be able to use daily using mud, bone, stone, or wood.
• Kit equipment: you'll learn to complete your bag with the necessary elements you'll need to spend a few days in the wild, depending on your needs. 
• Fishing session: we'll go to the Jándula river so we can fish different fishes, and you won't need a bait or a rod for it.
• Botany: we'll use different types of vegetals to obtain food or medicines. 
• Shelter: this workshop is the only one in Spain. You'll learn several techniques to build shelters, all of it based on the Tekna del Sahara tribe. 
• Food process: It includes theoretical and practical lessons, you'll learn how to cook several foods using techniques imported from the Amazon forest. 

You must bring the following things to be able to fully enjoy all of the above: bag with a canteen, tableware items (plates, cutlery), sleeping bag with a mat, strong and resistant clothing, appropriate shoes for the activities (mountain or trekking boots), head torch, raincoat, winter clothes.

*You can bring a blade as well but it's not necessary, if you don't have one we'll give you one.
