Mountain techniques course 2 days Urbasa or Aralar

During a weekend, we will do a course about mountain techniques in the Sierra of Urbasa or Aralar, which will awaken your best skills as a mountaineer.

It is a course where experts of the sport will teach you to make the most of the material available and to deal with the various situations that this type of environment can offer.

We will teach you to make a fire, to make different types of bivouac, to orient just by traces, or with a map and a compass. Also, we'll teach you to make knots, which can get you out of trouble more than once.

Likewise, we will analyse the equipment that you must bring to the mountain.

The course is 2 days long. Besides, if the weather is suitable, we can spend the night in bivouac, thus putting into practice some of the things learned.

You will need to bring:

• Sleeping bag and mat, in addition to survival blanket. The cover of the bivouac is also recommended.
• Water and food.
• Suitable clothing for the mountain and the weather.
• Compass and map of the area. Pencil.
• Knife.
• Flashlight.
• First aid kit.
