Description of Bird watching and route in Sierra Nevada, 5hOnce you set foot on Sierra Nevada you understand how unique its fauna and flora are. The birds of this area are especially distinctive, different from others belonging to lower altitudes or beach locations.
This activity starts in our facilities and then we will move on throughout Sierra Nevada's natural park during 5 hours, in order to discover all the birds' species that live in the relief and their importance. This route is great for everybody and one of our professional instructors will guide you.
We will be able to see many birds, such as the common rock thrus, alpine accentor, northern wheatear, ortolan bunting, tawny pipit and luckily some raptors.
We will get together at 8.45 am in our facilities, at 9.30 am we will get on the cable-cars at Pradollano towards the Veleta peak and begin the route at 10 am. The route ends at 2 pm when we get on the cable-car again to go down. We strongly recommend you to bring binoculars, water, food, trekking footwear and sunscreen. You have to notify us 3 days before booking this activity.
