If you like boats but do not have the required license to be able to navigate without supervision and at your leisure, we offer you the opportunity to acquire the Spanish PNB (Basic Skippering License) on Almeria's coast, specifically in the area of Garrucha. We will train you in radio communication, security and navigation. Once you have the title you will have the opportunity to be the patron of boats up to 8 meters in length and drive any type of jet ski.

In order to qualify for these practices, it is necessary to be over 16 years old. In the case of being still minor, your legal guardians will have to bring a signed authorization.

First, you will have to take a online course in which you will learn all the notions about beaconing, the RIPA, the associated legislation, nautical nomenclature, water safety and fundamental elements. This knowledge will gradually bring you closer to your goal so that you can sail freely. We also have quizzes for each unit, as well as mock exams from previous calls for you to practise and test your progress.

One of the elementary requirements is that you pass a psychological exam in a center that is qualified for it. In order to learn how to use the radio devices you will have a training course of 4 hours within a simulator. During this time you will learn to send and receive calls of different kinds. Our expert sailors will teach you the procedure to follow in an extreme or dangerous situation.

In the second part, we will go sailing on an approved ship. You will have ahead of you 8 hours in which you will learn various manoeuvers, here you will begin to have a more intimate contact with a ship and its operation. When the experience finishes, you will understand perfectly the electronic navigation.
