Minecraft Junior Workshop in Barcelona, 1 Week

Do you dare to create a virtual world in your own way? If your son or daughter is between 7 and 9 years old and they love video games, as well as everything behind them, You will love this camp. This is a initiation course for them to learn to program, develop maps and build virtual worlds in 3D. How fun does that sound?

The camp is not about playing Minecraft and that's it, but about learning all the ins and outs of programming and what it takes to make a video game like this. They will learn to program in Scratch, develop their creativity and become true Minecraft experts.

They will make Mods to create textures, large realistic constructions or even learn to integrate real photographs. But, not only that, we will teach you how to set up your own secure server so that you can share the worlds created in Minecraft with your friends. They will learn to design redstone circuits and modify their skins with the most incredible characters.

You do not need to have any type of previous experience to carry out the workshop, we will teach you all the basic tools to develop all your spatial, design and programming skills. Although the course is aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 9, children who are 6 years old can also participate if they already know how to read.

The workshops will last 5 days, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The camp will take place during different weeks in summer and the location varies, so you can choose the date you prefer from the following options: at the Colegio Sagrado Corazón Corazonistas from June 26 to 30, from June 10 to July 14, from July 24 to 28; and at Learnlife Barcelona from July 3 to 7 and from July 17 to 21.
