Description of Club Marítimo Luarca

At the Club Marítimo Luarca we offer you great diving initiation courses:

PADI Open Water
Or those of a FEDAS star

Both consist of the following:

Five theory classes (the first three usually take place on a Saturday morning, but it would also be possible to do the theory classes during the week from 7:30 p.m.)

Five practices in the pool or in a quiet place in the estuary at a depth of about 2 meters, that is: confined waters. These practices take place the first three Saturday afternoons.

Five dives in the sea, that is, in open water.

All the material to do the course will be provided by us. The only things that our students will have to contribute are:

Swimsuit
Swimming cap
T-shirt to put under the equipment and get into the pool (in the case of confined waters in the pool)

They are provided with the PADI Open Water qualification (card and diploma), which allows sports diving to a depth of 20 meters in any country in the world.

This qualification is important because thanks to it you can obtain points in the Fire, Civil Guard and National Police examinations.
