Hiking in Pontedeume (Santiago)

Fragas do Eume will make you discover the most beautiful nature of Galicia, where you can surround yourself with its incredible landscapes and discover it at your own pace, without hurry, without having to have a high level of hiking. Our mountain guides will take care to show you the most beautiful corners and you will be able to know the best of the Natural Park without any effort. We have several routes adapted to different levels , so you won't have to worry about anything but enjoy. You can also enjoy hiking trails of varying duration , from one hour to an entire day. 1 hour hiking With this program we will walk along the bank of the Eurne river where you will know the most characteristic fauna and flora of the area, where ferns predominate and where you can walk among them, at some times of the year they reach a height of up to 2 meters. 2-hour hiking This route will allow you to initially visit the Natural Park starting from the Visitor Reception Center, where you will see a projection on the park to learn the basics of it. Each of us will take our car and we can continue with the route in the Refugio da Figueira, we will contemplate remains of the Caneiro and we will continue by hanging bridges and the river, among other areas. 3-hour hiking We will meet in Cal Grande, the first fishermen's refuge and we will pass through suspension bridges, we will cross the river, we will arrive at monasteries ... We can go back on our steps or take an alternative route. You choose! Half-day hiking This program is aimed at the most daring, who are fit and can travel it without problem.
