The Atarfe Athletics and Mountain Club is located in the Granada town of Atarfe, approximately a quarter of an hour by car from the city of Granada. It is an active tourism company specialized in hiking and mountain activities, which offers among other proposals:
- Snowshoes: Go through the snowy landscape of the mountains of Granada in winter walking with snowshoes. This special footwear is worn over your normal footwear and as it is very wide and flat, it allows you to walk on the snow without sinking. So you can make long walks through snowy landscapes without fatigue just more than you would walking on normal ground. The feeling of walking through a completely white new world is incredible, and that is why this activity is increasingly in demand.
- Marches, hiking routes and trekking in the mountains: Granada has an incredible natural environment, especially in its mountainous areas. The hiking routes of the Atarfe Athletics and Mountain Club will allow you to get to know it walking at your own pace, so you can better enjoy nature. There are routes for all levels, since both the length and the characteristics of the route are always adapted to each group. If time permits, even night marches can be done.
