Excursions Illa Menorca we are a recently created company in which we have placed many hopes and illusions. We have been working in the field of hiking and mountain bikes for many years, especially we have dedicated ourselves to the Camí de Cavalls. This is how this company was born, which wants to make known to anyone who wants the magnificent opportunities to enjoy that this path gives us.
This path is a historical path that was disappearing under the vegetation due to its disuse. For a couple of years it has been free for the passage of any non-motorized vehicle and it is becoming a must in Menorca.
And what about Menorca, what about Menorca? Biosphere Reserve according to Unesco, a title that gives it prestige, but which is added with actions such as the work that is being carried out in the marine reserve of the North of the island, in the SCI zones, the ZEPA zones and in the protection of ravines and dunes. In addition to the numerous biological works that are developed on the island, and that have led to the discovery of new species such as various types of bats that were not known on the island.
What we offer from Excursions Illa Menorca is, throughout the year, the possibility of making routes between 10 and 15 kilometers long, which are covered in about 4 or 5 hours on foot. On these routes there is always a guide who knows the Camí de Cavalls, its history and that of Menorca and the physical and biological characteristics of the area. These excursions include the transfer of the hotel at the beginning of the stage and the return at the end. In addition, we offer the possibility of doing half routes or excursions of 2 or 3 hours.
