Barcarrota Aventura

Who are we? Barcarrota Aventura is dedicated to the organization of leisure, sports and educational activities designed for children and young people.

Our center is located in the middle of nature, in the Alcarrache corridor, near the Ahijón reservoir , specifically in the municipality of Barcarrota (Badajoz) , the place that gives us its name.

The environment of Alcarrache has the seal of "ecological corridor", since it has a wide biodiversity with well-known species such as the heron, the black stork, etc.

Our team is surrounded by a group of teaching experts who guarantee an adequate performance of activities according to the age of the children.

What activities do we do?

• Environmental education workshops: bringing the children closer to nature, teaching them to identify the different species of the reservoir.
• Jumps: techniques for children to lose their fear of water that we will do in the Ahijón reservoir.
• Zip line park
• Canoeing: we will teach you to row as a team and the techniques to keep your balance on the water.
• Hiking and orientation: we will teach them to navigate in nature through maps and compass.
• Climbing in a climbing wall
• Routes and excursions programs
• Horse and donkey rides.

All activities will take place in our hostel, with a capacity for 40 people, equipped with kitchen and living room with fireplace.
