The activities we carry out are: climbing, hiking and cross-country skiing.

Since 1928, the year of foundation of the Alpino Tabira Escalada, it has continued its trajectory to the present day, expanding its horizons to new ways of doing mountain sports, with the sole purpose of promoting sport of the mountains and the love of nature.

Every year begins with an ascent to Urkiolagirre on New Year's Day, with a crowd of more than 300 people.

The rest of its annual activities are divided as follows (club members will normally have priority over those who are not and want to carry out activities with them):

• Traditional Activities: They are fixed on the calendar and are suitable for all types of people. New Year, txitxiburduntzi, Besaide, club day, and the one that normally closes the calendar, the day of nougat, in which the club invites attendees to enjoy this sweet.

• Hiking. Tours of medium-long duration, without summits, one day or weekend. In collaboration with the Durango City Council, the Mugarri Eguna is held annually, to know the limits of the town.
• Tours of the Duranguesado. With the aim of getting to know the Duranguesado, it is intended to tour our area, ascending the peaks of this region. Accessible to all kinds of people. They are held in spring and summer, on Saturday mornings.
• Half mountain. They are crossings lasting between four and six hours. The typical exit to the mountain. Sometimes, if the tour allows it, several alternatives are presented. They are organized on Sundays, and you return to Durango around 8 in the afternoon.
• High Mountain. In order to take advantage of Saturday for this activity, he gets up early enough. He spends the night outside and again on Sunday a new activity is carried out. The preparation is greater and depends on the time of year, the presence of snow, ice, etc. Everyone is properly informed beforehand. In case of spending the night in shelters, the club takes care of the arrangements.
• Ski. They are on the weekend. They go out on Friday night and take advantage of Saturday and Sunday. The club contacts the lodge. Although normally the departures are to Candanchú, we also visit Formigal and Baqueira.
• Climbing. Weekend. Normally the trip is done in private cars, although if they are carried out in parallel with another activity, it is traveled by bus.
• Cursillos. They do not have a fixed date. They are announced when they are to be held. Common subjects: ski touring, cross-country skiing, orienteering, climbing, photography ...
• Long Duration March of Duranguesado. It is held annually in the area of Duranguesado, with a minimum distance of 56 kilometers and at least 2,600 meters of unevenness.

Cross-country skiing combines the ride and crossings with snow and skiing. It is an ideal way to get to know the surroundings and enjoy nature when everything is covered by snow.

Cross-country skiing activities take place on weekends. The departure will be organized on Friday night and will be used on Saturday and Sunday.

In Alpine Tabira Cross-Country Skiing we will take care of getting the accommodation.

The track that we frequent is Candanchú, although according to the demand of our clients we can also organize trips to Formigal and Baqueira.
