Avilatrekk is a company in constant search of new challenges to be able to share with its clients. We carry out hiking, trekking, snowshoeing, mountaineering and orientation races throughout the Sierra de Gredos. We also organize adventure trips nationally and internationally.

The Sierra de Gredos is one of the great hiking treasures of our territory, here you can find forgotten and lonely trails that contain a certain mysticism.

We also organize trips to Nepal, undoubtedly the country of the great mountains, you can take routes accompanied by professional Sherpas, a dream of any mountaineer.

Avilatrekk organizes 6-hour guided routes through the Gredos circus area. We will meet at La Plataforma at the specified time, and passing by Prado Pozas, Puerto de Candeleda and Refugio del Rey , we will summit at Pico Morezón, to admire the beauty of the Circo de Gredos.

The route taken is medium level, with a medium physical demand. Also, and depending on the request of your group, we can make a route "a la carte", shortening or changing the itinerary of it.

This trip can be modified depending on snow conditions and weather forecasts.

In addition, our sports technicians will give the route added value with their advice and comments. Constant support throughout the activity.

To carry out this activity it is necessary to come equipped with waterproof snow clothes, we put the snowshoes on us.

Avilatrekk focuses its main activity on hiking trails through the Sierra de Gredos, although we also make ascents to different peaks of the Spanish geography: Guadarrama, Pyrenees We even travel to Nepal!

Our headquarters are located in the Gredos area, from there we usually carry out:

Routes for beginners, activities for schools or family outings. A workshop that includes a tutorial on preparing equipment and backpack.

Guadarrama.

We also make outings through Guadarrama, circular routes that take you to know the cliffs of Los Claveles, Peñalara or the famous Escurialense route.

Pyrenees

We carry out routes of 5 to 7 days that go from refuge to refuge, a trip along the GR-11 trail, Carros de Fuego or Senda Camille.

Nepal .

In the most exotic trip we make, we travel to Nepal, where we will meet with great expeditionaries and adventurers, professional Sherpas will accompany us throughout the trip. The Everst awaits you!

In Avilatrekk we organize orientation games around Ávila, or the Gredos circus. The perfect activity to learn the use of the compass and the map. The exercise is divided into two parts:

Course on orientation and cartography : We will discover the shape of the Earth, types of maps, measurements, interpretation of coordinates and fundamental elements of the map. We will then move on to using the compass.

The second part is a route marked on a map that we will give you, where a dozen characteristic points are marked, which you have to discover.

For children, the route is guided and commented, since the beacons will be a series of photos of fauna, flora and mountain material, which we will explain.

In addition, our sports technicians will give advice for the practice of mountaineering during the session.
