Are you looking for a refuge in the middle of nature? Do you want to enjoy the outdoors on a getaway? You can try to come visit us at our rural house which, although it is surrounded by mountains and forests, is located just a few kilometers from Cuenca.

If you come to spend one or several days with us, we will invite you to do various activities to discover the best of our environment:

Canyoning and caving: you will put on your wetsuit and go looking for the strongest emotions by jumping into hidden pools both inside and outside the mountain.
Paragliding and paramotoring: it is the best idea to complete your trip. You can prepare a special celebration and we will be accomplices for a day that no one will be able to forget
Orientation, hiking and mountain biking routes: you can explore the mountains in a totally natural way. If you choose to do it on foot you will be able to observe every last detail of the forests and if you go by bike you will be surprised by the adrenaline that the paths in the area give off.
Climbing and rappelling: it is ideal for living a vertical adventure. You will climb to the top doing a great sporting activity and then you will enjoy the descent with some very exciting jumps that can exceed 10 meters.
4x4 route: You will go at maximum power along the roads of the Cuenca mountain range. There is no more impressive activity than this since you will surely feel like an explorer on a safari in an unknown land.
Zipline: you can choose between ropes that are already fixed in nature or ask us to put some at the points you prefer. Once you have chosen the place, all you have to do is slide at full speed and have a great time.
Archery: it is done in our own facilities and we will try to make you an archer known throughout the world. You can test your aim in a tournament or become more professional with the lessons we will give you, you choose.

You choose the duration of the tour, which will vary between half a day or a full day for those looking to spend a more intense day. In any case, the time you spend in the mountains will depend on how agile you are.

You cross an area where the water has created the most varied paths. You will have to go into tunnels, climb small rock steps or drop down natural slides to small streams and pools.

There are excursions for all tastes and with durations ranging from 6 hours (half a day) to a full day in nature. You can go to routes like the Escalerón a la Raya or the Hoces. You should wear very comfortable clothes and if you come to do it in winter you also have to bring something that will keep you warm in the cold places of the area.

Thanks to the passion of our instructors for adventure sports, we can offer you the most varied activities that you will love, such as climbing. It doesn't matter if you don't have experience climbing walls because we offer all modalities for all types of climbers.

Initiation in a climbing wall: you can start with a simple climb on our artificial wall. The good thing about this structure is that you will be controlled and still be able to have a good day learning to climb difficult routes that go from less to greater intensity.
Natural rock climbing: The Cuenca mountain range is exceptional in providing walls to climb. You can comfortably advance in the lowest level ones or face others in which you will have to get your most technical knowledge if you want to reach the end.

You have two options:

Route without a monitor: this is a route in which you will only rent the bicycle. It will be a day totally tailored to you, although we will advise you and tell you which places you want to go if you are looking for impressive corners.
Route with a monitor: although you will be the one who decides the route, our guide will be the one who will take you through it and will try to find the best paths and routes depending on how you are. You can do a short itinerary of just 1 hour that will leave from our facilities or dare to do something more and increase the duration up to a maximum of a full day on the mountain bike. .

Thanks to the zip line and the descents on it we can experience one of the most formidable sensations in a very simple way. The main thing to be able to enjoy this sport is to have the desire to have fun and dare to jump at a point that is usually quite high.

The zip lines that we have searched for at Casa Rural El Encinar are very safe and you can find them above rivers, between mountains or through the treetops highest in the forest.

Do you dare with a different type of rappelling? At Casa Rural El Encinar we practice it with double rappels so you can enjoy this impressive sport in the company of whoever you choose.

In the Cuenca orography there are walls that allow us to practice rappelling in a very intense way. It is done in totally vertical areas that can reach up to 80 meters in height.

At first it will be simple jumps of up to 5 meters that you will do as an introductory class. Then the level will rise, and so will you because you will reach heights that can reach 10 meters above the dream.

You have to have good technique to do this sport, but don't worry because it is acquired very quickly. While descending, you will have to wear a helmet and other protection so that the small blows you receive do not become too serious.

Orientation is a complete, educational and fun activity that you can do whenever you want thanks to the professionals at Casa Rural El Encinar. If you don't want to get lost in the mountains and learn to move following the clues of nature, you can't miss a day in the flat Sierra de Cuenca.

In the courses we teach you will receive orientation lessons of two types:

Traditional: compasses, maps and notebooks are used in which they tell you how to decipher the language of nature.
Electronics: we will use a GPS or mobile applications that will make this class a perfect mix between environment and technology.
