Cinegética Las Encebras

Las Encebras Hunting is a complex located in the province of Granada in the Montes Orientales region, near the capital of Granada and the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. We have a proposal in which we use our hunting resources with a farm and a large plot of land to practice rural activities.

We do activities designed especially for groups and also celebrations such as farewells, weddings, family events, etc.

These are our activities:

• Capeas: In our tent we release the heifers so that you can show off with the best tasks, livening up the day with good food and drink.

• Hunting: We release pheasants and quails from our farm around the property so that they don't escape and you can taste them later in our restaurant.

• Hiking: The Sierra de Arana and its caves are an ideal setting to go out into the countryside and mountains and breathe fresh air among pines and oaks.

• Horse riding: On the back of these animals we move around the farm, you can rent your own horse and go wherever you want and leave it in our care.

Spend a day in the Granada countryside in our company and doing activities that will connect you directly with nature.

In the heart of the province of Granada a very interesting day of hiking awaits you in the surroundings of the Sierra de Arana, a massif that serves as foothills to the great peaks of the Sierra Nevada. You will find mountain trails between pine forests and oaks with wonderful views of the region.

We start the routes in the farmhouse that we have near Guadahortuna and we head to the mountains, being able to reach places such as theWindows Cave or the Agua Cave.

The guide will lead the expedition along the trails, explaining the most notable elements that you find in your path.

The hiking routes have different slopes, some being easy to navigate and others requiring a careful physical level as they take you along the steepest paths of these mountains.

The duration also varies with short routes and other very long ones that will take you all day.

Cinegética Las Encebras offers you horseback riding in beautiful places in the middle of the mountains in Guadahortuna, in the province of Granada. You will be able to jog carefree while you escape from the routine and also get to know more closely what these animals are like.

Thehorseback routes are guided by instructors from the center who will take you through the best places near this town, with the possibility of seeing the majestic peaks of the Sierra Nevada on the horizon.

For approximately 1 hour and a half we will be trotting through the fields, stopping along the way so that both we and the horses can rest.

If you have your own horse you can bring it and we will take care of it in our boxes, receiving all the care it deserves.

Or if you don't have a horse but you have experience riding it, you can rent one of ours and take the routes that you think are most convenient.

The capeas or country parties are undoubtedly a great attraction for the most daring at business meetings, bachelor parties or gatherings of friends and at Cinegética Las Encebras we make it possible. We are in the Montes Orientales region, north of Granada.

The brave ones will have a great timemaking the heifer breakand demonstrating your bravery to others. You will enjoy this typically Spanish festival, which tries to emulate bullfighting, without the subsequent danger that this entails.

At all times, the bullfighters from Cinegética Las Encebras will be in the shopping plaza to lend a hand at any time. Going out to bullfight in the chapel during the activity will be a completely voluntary decision and therefore, it will always be under the responsibility of each of the bullfighters. the people who decide to jump into the ring. The duration of the capea is usually one hour but we always add half an hour more for free.

To accompany this day of capea, you will have food and drink at your disposal throughout the duration of it. We have 30 and 50 liter beer barrels to choose from.

- A time in the arena of at least 60 minutes . If you are not in a hurry, we are going to give you another 30 minutes so that you can keep standing up to the heifers. The square is covered and we set it with music.

- Draft beer of 30 or 20 liters while you bullfight. Attendees will be able to chop olives and chips as an aperitif.

- Catering service with menus served individually to each participant. You will have grilled meat as a main dish, a salad to add a refreshing point to the meal and the best chorizo and blood sausage in the area. If someone wants to repeat, they will have the opportunity to do so.

- Cups to end the party at affordable prices. Remember that if you return by bus you will not have to drive.
