Description of Complejo Bolaso

The Bolaso Complex is a kind of oasis in Zaragoza where you can have a campsite with camping areas and bungalows next to the Bolaso reservoir and surrounded by forests of pines, junipers and willows. In the surroundings and between places we present very adventurous proposals in full contact with the earth.

Las Bárdenas Reales and its fantastic and curious desert landscape between Aragón and Zaragoza, the Lagunazo del Moncayuelo and its biodiversity or the Pigalo and its pools of emerald green water, are some of the places that you can visit with us .

We also do fishing days in the Bolaso reservoir, adjacent to our center.

Description of Complejo Bolaso Fishing

We propose a day of fishing in the Cinco Villas region, northwest of Zaragoza capital, in the El Bolaso reservoir. This lagoon, 5 km from Ejea de los Caballeros, is an enclave where releasing the rod is ideal.

We practice sport fishing without death in an area declared as intensive fishing that requires a fishing license from the Government of Aragon.

We stand on the edge of the reservoir and use our skill and, above all, patience to find succulent specimens of perch, carp, pike and, above all, trout.

We will spend several hours fishing with the company of an expert fisherman from our center who knows the most suitable areas well.

You will feel a relaxation that will make you release all the stress and also learn about fishing with us.

Description of Complejo Bolaso Hiking

Bolaso Complex organizes hiking routes throughout the Cinco Villas Region, near Ejea de los Caballeros in Zaragoza. Routes of all colors through this region, even with night crossings.

At Bolaso Complex we have different maps with more than 20 marked routes and our own map of the best places in the Cinco Villas:

  • The Pigalo
  • Moncayuelo lagoon
  • Trunk Well
  • Biel
  • And many more...
The Devil hiking route stands out as original, which is done not only during the day but also at night. Night crossing that usually takes place in summer. You leave the Devil's Fountain in Malpica following the course of the Arba River until you reach Layana.

Other hiking routes head towards the black and white Bárdenas of Aragon and Navarra, visiting this inhospitable and extremely dry land, plagued by gullies and torrents.

Description of Complejo Bolaso Horseback Riding

The Bolaso Complex is an adventure activity center where we offer you horseback riding through the Cinco Villas region, near Ejea de los Caballeros in Saragossa. In addition to riding classes at our facilities to fall in love with horses and know everything about them.

You will feel like a true American cowboy riding through this harsh, inhospitable and rugged land that is very reminiscent of the Wild West.
We will be jogging with a guide nearby and a support jeep where we can leave our luggage and other supplies.

The duration of the walk will be at least 1 hour but you can take longer routes if you wish.

Children can live their own equestrian adventure with apony ride around the center, always with the supervision of adults.

If you are more interested in technique, we have riding classes to learn all the secrets of riding, dressage and show jumping. All this on our spacious training courts.

Description of Complejo Bolaso Mountain Biking

The region of Cinco Villas and Bárdenas Reales hosts a multitude of routes that are a delight for mountain bike lovers and in general, for anyone who wants to enjoy of a day pedaling.

This means of transport, so ecological and grateful for the effort, takes us through incredible places in the province of Aragón and adjacent to Navarra.

You can choose one of our planned routes or design your own. To do this you will have all the information you need with a detailed map of the roads in the area.

The classic itineraries we have are these:

  • Bárdenas Reales: Routes through this unique enclave that consists of 42,000 hectares of semi-desert mountain between Aragon and Navarra. One of the driest areas of Spain that you can explore by bike observing the gullies, torrents and badlands that populate this region.
  • Lagunazo del Moncayuelo: Routes very different from the previous ones. Here the vegetation appears with numerous types of trees such as pines, poplars, weeping willows, cypresses, etc. In addition to a lot of fauna. A garden worth visiting.
  • El Pigalo: We reach this very deep pool where we can take a bath in completely clean, emerald green waters.
