At Cortijo Balderas we have been organizing activities for more than 20 years . Enjoying traveling all the roads around us and making all participants enjoy unforgettable days in a dream landscape.

Our farm is located in Güejar Sierra , a town at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. This privileged place allows us to carry out activities that you will love:

Horseback riding: you will travel through Sierra Nevada riding and feeling how the most surprising emotions appear at each section of the road. Our monitor will be with you throughout the itinerary so if you have never ridden before, don't worry, he will make sure that there is no problem to guide the horse in the best possible way.
Hiking trails : you can also cross paths, trails and all kinds of walking routes in the most incredible mountains of Granada. Sierra Nevada hides a landscape that attracts hundreds of people and there is no better way to discover all its possibilities than with the itineraries that we have looked for in the Cortijo Balderas.

Description of Cortijo Balderas Hiking

If you like to explore the mountains on foot, at Cortijo Balderas we have devised routes that will surprise you and with which you will reach the most remote places of Sierra Nevada and the mountains of Granada.

These itineraries that we have found leave from our facilities and from there we go to the most interesting places in the area. So you can do 1-hour routes to Hortichuela or to the Vadillo de Caracol passing through the Barranco de San Juan .

With us you will also enjoy somewhat longer routes of 2 and 3 hours to which we will take you to the Sierra Güejar in different difficulties. The most adventurous and experienced hikers will be able to go with us to the Mirador del Vadillo . The duration of the route there is 6 hours and you will have to have a slightly higher resistance.

We also do a route of some difficulty to Robledal del Guarnón lasting 7 hours, crossing the Sierra Güejar and being impressed by all the views that appear from the highest of the mountains.

The routes on horseback are ideal for all those who want to do a different activity but also enjoy the mountains and the most amazing nature. The Cortijo Balderas is based in Güejar Sierra and from here we assure you the best landscapes and views so that you can have a great time with your friends, family or with your partner on the most romantic walks.

We want you to have a day in which no detail is missing and that is why we will personally prepare the routes to adapt them to your tastes. The itineraries that we will propose will be through the Sierra Nevada area, covering all its paths to the most hidden places but you will be the one who has the last word and you will tell us which places you want to visit.

Less experienced riders will have to participate in a small class before going out to ride where they will learn to control the horse and we will also show them how to take care of them and prepare them to go out into the woods.
