The waters of the rivers in the area of Melide are very varied, now we find calm waters through which to navigate admiring the landscape and wilder waters full of waterfalls, waterfalls and endless of obstacles to overcome.

At Ferventia we like to navigate with our kayaks whatever the type of river and we look for different possibilities for you to enjoy it:

• Calm waters: our instructors will take you around the Portodemuros Reservoir on journeys that range from 6 hours to entire days. If you choose the second option, we will include a camping trip with a picnic and lots of fun

• Wild waters: the river chosen for this tour is the Ulla River. Its waters full of jumps and rapids will take you through the Boqueixón and Vedra area on a trip full of strong emotions in which you will have fun like never before. The tour lasts about 6 hours and you can do it aboard a kayak from the Ferventia fleet. The minimum age for this activity is 14 years old and you must know how to swim to do it.

Canyoning is perhaps the most complete risk sport of all adventure sports. It is a tour through the ravines jumping with and without ropes and avoiding objects such as pools, puddles and natural slides.

Galicia is an area rich in different rock formations and the ravines were not going to be any less. We can find canyons of all types and varying levels so that everyone can go canyoning regardless of their level. At Ferventia we offer you three levels:

• Beginner level: we will travel to the Sierra de Outes to reach the Santaballa River. This place is perfect for learning everything you need to know about canyoning while enjoying a day outdoors. Not everyone can do this activity, you have to be over 16 years old due to the risk that the tour entails.

• Medium level: if you have ever done canyoning you will surely want to repeat. That is why we have designed this route so that you can continue learning about this sport in the Barbanza River.

• Professional level: the Xallas River passes through the region of O Ézaro, a whitewater river that those experts in canyoning will enjoy. For half a day you will explore the best ravines and formations that the Xallas River has carved in the rock over the years and you will perform jumps and movements with ropes applying the rappelling technique.

With Farventia you can go canyoning in spring, summer and autumn. Winter is not the most suitable season due to the strong frosts in the area and the adverse weather conditions.

• Initiation level: we carry out this activity in the Ulla River, in the section that goes from Xirimbao to Herbón. A privileged place to go rafting without having experience. You must be at least 12 years old and also know how to swim in case you fall into the water.

• Medium level: for the most advanced who have done rafting at least once, we have prepared this modality on the Deza River from Bascuas to Cira. Those who have already done a descent will find this section very fun since they will have all the most basic notions to be able to overcome the obstacles more easily. It is also an essential requirement to know how to swim to carry out this activity and we will ask you to be 16 years old or older.

Ferventia is a company that loves water sports of all kinds. Hydrospeed is one of the most original sports that provides the most strong emotions.

The river that we have chosen to do this activity is the Ulla River, specifically the section that goes from Sinde to Herbón. This section is full of rapids and currents that will take you at full speed on your board or sled descending the river like you never imagined.

This activity requires certain requirements to ensure it is safe:

• Be over 14 years old: to have a constitution sufficient to float and withstand the attacks of the water without problems.

• Know how to swim: It is an essential requirement since hydrospeed is characterized by the participants being semi-submerged in the river. You have to have a certain agility in the water to stay afloat in adverse conditions.

You can hydrospeed in Galicia with us all year round. The river has an appropriate flow during all seasons, so we recommend it for spring and early summer to cool off the hottest days.

You must be a minimum of 6 to do this activity and on each descent an instructor will go with you aboard a canoe ensuring that you do not deviate from the route.

Paintball is not only a game of aiming, it also requires skill, endurance and a cool mind to defeat your rivals without them doing so first.

At Ferventia we want you to come play with us in an incredible place like the Melide area. We will propose different game modes in which you will develop strategies while enjoying the outdoors and healthy competition against your friends.

To do paintball you must be over 14 years old. There is no physical requirement to play a game but we usually recommend being in good enough physical shape to be able to run from one side of the field to the other for half a day.

This sport is designed to play in a group with your friends at a bachelor party or to celebrate a birthday in a different way. You can also bring your employees to celebrate a team building day and have a great time away from the office.

You don't need to bring special clothing as we will provide you with the jumpsuit, protections, gun and balls before starting the game and we will teach you how to use it before you go out onto the field. You will have a different number of balls depending on the package you contract, but in any case we will offer you refills during the game.

Depending on your level and your preferences, we will go to one or another wall in the Melide area and the vicinity of the Ulla and Deza rivers.

This activity can be done as a family since it can be done by children aged 10 years and older. No experience is required, just don't be afraid of heights since the climb will be more than 5 meters above the ground.

For half a day you can enjoy climbing the best mountains, letting yourself be guided and taught by our instructors. You can also do this activity by completing it with other activities we do at Ferventia and have a day full of strong emotions outdoors.

Climbing is a very complete exercise but at the same time very simple. Not only will you need strength in your arms and legs to support yourself on the walls, but you also need concentration and a lot of intelligence to see the easiest path to the top. In any case, don't worry because our instructors will be close to you to help you climb.

Climbing groups must have a minimum of 4 participants and we organize lessons with groups of up to 30 people, so it can be a good option for schools or institutes that want to surprise an entire class with a different activity. .

At Ferventia we give you different options to practice this sport:

• Shooting at our facilities: you can come to Melide to practice with us at the shooting range that we have designed for you. Our instructors will adapt to your level and teach you how to aim and try to hit the target the first time.

• Portable archery: at Ferventia we want to provide you with all the facilities so that you can do archery. So if you want, we can bring you the target, bows and arrows wherever you ask us. This option is ideal for schools, institutes or camps.

In any of the modalities it is necessary to be over 6 years old to do archery with us since we do not have the appropriate materials for children under that age.

You can do it all year round and for as long as you choose. If you come to our field, you can also combine it with other activities such as paintball or any of our catalog.

If you like the mountains, you can't miss the excursions and orientation courses that we at Ferventia have thought of for you. You will travel through the Galician mountains to the last corner using your intelligence to find the way with a compass, a map and a GPS.

This activity can be done in different places such as theSierra de Outes. The mountains of Galicia offer immense possibilities to learn to orient yourself and enjoy nature in its purest form.

For the games there will be groups and teams in which each one will be given a GPS, a map and a compass. You will have to use them and follow the marked signs to reach the finish line before the rival team.

The minimum age to do so is 6 years old and we organize games for schools or institutes that want to surprise their students with a day of outdoor exercise in which they will have fun away from the classrooms.
Depending on the level of the participants, the difficulty of the race will be different and we will try to help you learn everything about orientation and survival in the mountains.

Bungee jumping is the best sport to release adrenaline. Jumping into the void held only by a rope will give you an emotion that you will not find anywhere else.

At Ferventia we like risky activities and bungee jumping is one of our favorites. We have looked for the most suitable places to practice this sport and we have found them in the best bridges in Lugo, Noia and Vila de Cruces.

You must be of legal age to be able to jump with us, although if you are not, it is enough for your parents to accompany you or for you to have their consent to be able to jump. Experience is not necessary and we only ask that you want to have a good time and be willing to dare to jump.

Bungee jumping is not designed for those who suffer from vertigo or fear of heights since the bridges are more than 15 meters high. The end of the activity will be done by jumping into the river so it is advisable to know how to swim, although if you don't know how we will come for you in one of our boats.

If you can't go to the mountain, we will bring the mountain to you. At Ferventia we like to climb and we want everyone to learn and enjoy this activity. That is why we want you to visit our facilities where we have a large climbing wall.

In addition, we can also take it wherever you want. To the patio of your school or institute, to the park to celebrate the neighborhood festivals or to the municipal sports center at local festivals. You do not need any special structure to enjoy the climbing wall, you just have to choose 4m2 in which we will install our climbing wall.
The height of the climbing wall is 6m so the space in which you want to install it must be at least 7 meters high.

Once installed, you can invite everyone over 6 years old to try it. They will discover an incredible and fun sport that they will like from the moment they set foot on the first stone.
