With us and our instructors specifically trained in the subject you can learn to ride a horse through the classes taught at the center. They can also be rented, either for half a day or a full day, and improve your skills with them more freely.

He will comment on all the curious details that you come across during the journey, as well as help you ride in a better way if any problem arises.

In our comfortable boxes, the horses will be like nowhere else, perfectly cared for and with everything necessary for their correct growth and development. You can also add dressage classes to this service, to learn right here together with your horse.

Experience the pleasure ofriding through the Verín Region on the back of the horses that we have waiting for you at Hípica Monterrey. Our equestrian center is located in the province of Orense, right in Queizas, where you will have the opportunity to walk among the characteristic Galician neighborhoods that make up this space, such as O Toxal and Iglesias.

The outings we organize are aimed at adults and it is preferable that you have experience. However, it is not essential to come with clear knowledge of horse riding because if you need it we will spend some time familiarizing you with the animal before departure. For all those who are already prepared, we have:

- 1-hour horse riding excursions through Verín: exclusive routes for which we do not exceed the maximum of 4 participants per session. We will start by setting the pace from our farm in Lugar de As Poulas and, when the road allows it, we will gallop reaching greater speed. It is for this reason that we ask for some previous experience.

- Horseback riding route passing along the banks of the Támega: extending the duration of the activity to an average of 2 hours, we will have time to take the animals for a walk along the shore of this nearby river. You will see leafy groves that extend their branches to the water.

- Equestrian outings to Monterrey Castle: to reach this monumental complex we will have to spend around 4 hours. It will be worth seeing, from our horses, this 14th century fortress that will leave us only about thirty kilometers from Portugal.

At Hípica Monterrey we consider it essential that the person who wants to be part of our routes knows how to ride a horse. This way we guarantee that you are comfortable and safe enough to enjoy our magnificent surroundings in the Verín Region. Therefore, we ourselves will teach you with riding classes from the most basic level.

You will locate the equestrian club in the Galician area of Queizás with 60 minute sessions during which we focus on:

- Determine where you are starting from: you may have never seen a horse before, and don't even know where to start, or it may have been years since you were last a rider or horsewoman. As instructors we will have a first talk with you to find out what exactly you need. This way we won't leave anything behind or bore you by reviewing concepts that are clear to you.

- Explain to you how to relate to the animal: we will do it through body language and some basic rules according to the principles of horsemanship.

- Get into practice: accompanying you in your first steps on the horse. We will correct your posture and you will start first at the walk, then at the trot, and with all this controlled, at the gallop.

You will follow this process in as many classes as you need, but we have bonuses so that the complete course you want to take is economical.
