Our location located about 15 kilometers from the town of Cazorla, in the valley of the Cañamares River includes everything you need to enjoy the environment and dedicate yourself to what you like.

Our facilities have a capacity for up to 65 people, organic gardens and farms that have the certificate of the Andalusian Committee for Ecological Agriculture.

We have a large team of professionals who carry out various programs, aimed at groups of all kinds of characteristics.

What do we do?

- Programs for schoolchildren: aimed at school groups of up to 60 people on social and environmental education.

- Summer camps: with a very practical education based on dialogue and tolerance, where each child will be perfectly integrated into the group.

- Study trips: organization of activities on agroecology, the natural environment that surrounds us, oil, etc. You can choose what you want to do if none of them catches your attention.

- Family Tourism: excursions through the high mountains or quiet walks through our Cañamares River. We take care of the food.

- Ornithological tourism: with all kinds of birds. Swallows, eagles, elusive bearded vultures, bee-eaters, orioles that will amaze you at the large group of birds of different color, shape and tones.

- Oleotourism: initiation tastings on the knowledge of olive oil where you can learn the cultivation of the olive, its collection, the different ways of elaboration and conservation, as well as the basic concepts.

- Organic farming: courses and workshops related to organic farming, visiting and working in our own garden.

- Ecotourism: where the important thing will be respect for the environment and a healthy diet with local seasonal products.

- Thematic weekends: with a minimum group of 15 people and a maximum of 25, in our facilities excursions of any theme are carried out during the weekend.

- Environmental interpretation: guided visits to the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park.

Huerta del Cañamares is the most peaceful, spacious and comfortable place you have ever been. It is ideal to relax with family or friends. Practice hiking, archery, canoeing, river descent, rappelling, cycling routes, zip lines, etc.

With the Anglo-tourism and Environmental Education Center Huerta del Cañamares your children will experience the education and fun that you received. If you are tired of the growing consumerism of society, we will offer your children an education based on the realization of activities where knowledge, sports, creation, or games are found.

It will fully benefit them for their ability to interact with other people. They will socialize with the other members of the group and forge incredible friendships.

This area is great for experiencing the environment, where in addition to the Cañamares river, there is also the riverside forest of poplars, willows and ash trees full of birds of all shapes and colors. If one of your passions is the observation of exotic animals that you cannot find in your day to day, enjoy the experience that the Agrotourism and Environmental Education Center brings you Huerta del Cañamares.

Its location, located about 15 kilometers from the town of Cazorla, in the valley of the Cañamares River , will allow viewing the largest colony of griffon vulture in the natural park as well as observing the natural area of Alto Guadalquivir with a large number of species that can be seen.

Not far from our facilities we find the largest colony of griffon vulture in the park in Palomera, also near the El Chorro spot , the perfect place to look at the Egyptian vulture, in addition to other rock species. We will see the peregrine falcon and Bonelli's eagle, golden eagle and royal swift in the Utrero mountain range .

In one of the most beautiful environments of the Sierra de Cazorla, the excursion to Los Pollos de Mesa, we meet the elusive bearded vulture . In Tiscas and Quesada we will visit a special area to observe this species of birds so rare in our continent, while in the other direction we will observe the lesser kestrel in the Alto Guadalquivir Natural Area.

What does our place include?

In the surroundings of the Huerta del Cañamares the swallows and daurica flutter. Inside we can hear the great woodpecker and great woodpecker, jay and the striking oriole with its bright yellow plumage. the kingfisher is found in the Cañamares river. And on the banks the bee-eaters sleep in the poplar groves, along with other species.
