Ibiza Vertical

At the Ibiza Vertical climbing school we promote climbing and mountaineering among adults and children from 4 years old .

We consider that climbing serves as a tool to reach personal knowledge, contributing to our correct development in all areas. Through weekly trainings and constant work we achieve the integration of the participants and the overcoming of their fears.

As a novelty, we present the facilities of the Ibizavertical Center , available since October 2013, a space in which we will combine climbing with alternative activities such as yoga, meditation, art or Afro-Cuban dance and percussion workshops.

In addition, we will have the Balearic Federation of Muntanyisme which will allow you to inform yourself with the highest authorities of the islands in this discipline or to process your federative license directly.

In this course, we will have three teaching days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Sant Josep City Council will subsidize the first 40 children who register .

At Ibiza Vertical we think that climbing is not limited to ascending vertical spaces but we believe in the need to pay special attention to safety training to avoid taking risks that can be fatal for those who they practice it.

In our center we start from this premise to teach you professionally through:

- Climbing baptisms : for those who do not yet have knowledge. We will do it with a small excursion to a suitable natural enclave in a time between 2 and 3 hours where, after securing yourself with the material, you will begin to take the first steps vertically.

- Lessons and trainings : adapted to each participant, in collaboration with the Sant Josep City Council to give certain advantages to its inhabitants. In these cases, we require obtaining a Federal License, both for children, youth and adults, which we process directly. In the introductory courses we will make 4 outings until completing a total of 20 hours.

In Ibiza Vertical we operate in the artificial climbing walls of Sant Agustí or Santa Eulalia , where we take advantage of their excellent conditions to learn climbing safely.

In addition to taking care of lending you personalized lessons, we program workouts with which to exercise your muscles in order to face the ascent in a healthy way without forcing unprepared limbs.

We also go out to the mountains a couple of times a year to put into practice what we have learned in real terrain. Before we will train you by levels coinciding with the sections of the federative licenses essential:

- Children up to 13 years of age
- Adolescents between 14 and 17 years old
- Adults from 17 years old onwards

Keep in mind that once you obtain the license, depending on the coverage you have chosen, you will be able to accompany us on any of our trips since the federated are protected against accidents. In the cheapest option you can climb in Spain, Andorra, Portugal and the French Pyrenees, while in the most extreme slope, you can practice anywhere on the globe up to an altitude of 7,000 meters.
