La Costa de Molló

The Costa de Molló coexists all year round with a herd of 17 horses and foals that live freely and ecologically in the 75 ha of forests and meadows of mountain in the Pyrenees.

Both teams (human and equine) collaborate to offer multiple activities in the natural environment that surrounds us. Equestrian activities are carried out with the herd, contact workshops, care and management of free horses in herd, excursions and horseback riding through the forest routes.

summer equestrian stays for boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old are also organized in the month of July.

La Costa organizes horseback riding through the Mollo area, in Girona , and its surroundings. They have been dedicating themselves to horses for more than thirty years, taking care of their equestrian, organizing equestrian camps and other activities. Without a doubt, its star activity is guided horseback riding.

They have horses of all kinds and for each level, so if you do not have experience you should not worry, they will give you a simple horse and the necessary instructions. Learning to ride a horse is something that requires time, practice and patience, but you always start with the first route.

They organize routes for small groups of at least four people, one, two and up to four hours. Being able to request a full day route. They also carry out multi-day routes with groups of all kinds. Request information and design the route you want.

The routes are guided, in this way experienced people and people who want to start can participate. The guide knows the area and will know how to show you the most beautiful corners of forests and forest trails.

Enjoy horse riding in Mollo!

La Costa organizes Equestrian Camps in summer in La Costa de Molló , in the Girona area. The camps are designed for children from six to sixteen years old who want to enjoy a different summer, learn to ride a horse or improve their technique as well as having fun in nature and making friends.

The camp takes place in Molló, in a restored farmhouse over five hundred years old with cozy and minimalist rooms, on a hotel basis and with all kinds of amenities. There they will enjoy homemade food with local products such as lamb or chicken, as well as fruit from nearby orchards.

Among the objectives of the camp is to know and respect nature, actively participate in the group and feel a sense of belonging, encourage generosity and service to others, promote animal care, improve riding technique and skills. of each children, and teach them the language of horses.

The camps are held in July and last five days, and you can participate in several consecutive camps if you want them to progress in their training.
