At La Herradura we differentiate ourselves from other equestrian equestrian schools because we not only teach horse riding classes, but we also have a wide program of activities for the enjoyment of this type of exercise and for therapeutic help equestrian of those who need it.
Some of the activities that we program are:
- Equestrian camps: in these holiday camps, held both at Christmas and in summer or Easter , children will learn to take care of these animals at the same time that they obtain a friendship with the horse based on respect and affection. Games and gymkhanas will be held with and without horses and riding lessons will be given. Some of the activities will also be in English so that they get used to hearing this language that they will need so much in the future.
- Routes on horseback: you can make excursions with the family in the surroundings, or with groups of children or schools, or also individual excursions.
- Individual or group therapeutic activities: with horses we have discovered that great things can be done. These animals are of great help for children with some type of physical or mental disability. In our activities the objective is to improve motor skills , social skills, emotional , concentration, etc. Of these little ones, fostering their desire for self-improvement, their independence and willpower, and favoring their integration into society.
- Riding lessons: for both adults and children.
