Naturmaz is a company located on the Costa da Morte that is dedicated to organizing adventure activities. They do not ask for previous experience for most of their activities and courses and try to adapt to the particularities of each person or group.

Do you want to learn to handle a kayak while enjoying strong emotions with us on the Xallas River and the Embalse da Fervenza?

At Naturmaz we offer different river rafting activities aboard a kayak in which you will enjoy a day full of fun. With us you can do:

• Initiation courses: we will teach you how to maneuver and control the direction of the kayak while you navigate down the river avoiding the rapids of the Xallas River. The section we have chosen is designed for those who do not have much experience but who want to enjoy the speed of the river.

• Kayak surfing: It is the most fun type of this water sport, you will ride the waves riding your Kayak while you try to control the canoe with your paddle. Kayak surfing is intended for those who already have some experience and want to do a more extreme activity

• Kayak Routes: throughout the year we organize routes of several days through the wildest rivers of the Galician community such as the Miño and the area around its islands most emblematic like the Cíes and Ons islands. We will also go to the Ebro and other rivers such as the Tajo. The most professionals will be able to come with us on an excursion outside of Spain and descend rivers as impressive as the Nile or the Danube.

Paramotoring is a very attractive sport for all those who want to experience strong emotions. With the activity that we have prepared at Naturmaz, you will take a flight in a paraglider powered by a small motor.

Unlike the paraglider, you will be able to gain more height and speed to travel the Costa da Morte in a very peculiar way. So that you can enjoy paramotor flying we have designed different options for this activity:

• Paramotor baptism: this is a flight in which you will enjoy strong emotions. It will be a flight in a two-seater paraglider in which our instructors will also act as a guide and will show you the most incredible places of the Embalse da Fervenza

• Paramotor Course: we will give you an 8-day course at the Fervenza aerodrome in which you will obtain the certificate to achieve autonomy in the air. We teach this course throughout the year but only on weekends. It will be 48 hours in which you will learn to handle the paraglider and control the power of the engine so that you can travel through the air on your own.

Flying is one of the most repeated dreams, which is why at Naturmaz we want to give you the possibility of experiencing a similar sensation driving one of our ultralight airplanes.

If you want a first contact with aviation we have several activities prepared for you:

• Aerial baptism: you will take off from our headquarters at the Fervenza aerodrome and during flights of 15 or 20 minutes you will tour the Fervenza reservoir from above.

• Sightseeing tours: we will take you through the most impressive areas of the Costa da Morte. You will admire the most incredible cliffs flying over the rías baixas and the coastal area of Galicia.

We also have courses for those who want to learn more about this world and become real pilots:

• Initiation course: we will give you theoretical classes where you will learn the most basic things to be able to fly in the practical classes. Our courses are 4 hours (2 hours of theory and 2 hours of practice) and when you finish them you will be able to fly autonomously without the need for an instructor.

• ULM Pilot Course: this course is to obtain the Ultralight Pilot license. You must be over 18 years and pass the practical and theoretical classes to obtain the title. The practical classes will have a duration of 10 hours which will be completed with another 10 theoretical hours.

Gather your friends and come to our facilities to play a game of Paintball. This sport is simple and will provide you with great doses of fun and adrenaline, a perfect activity for groups of friends who want to spend a different day.

At Naturmaz we have different fields where you can play:

• Outdoor court: With a width of 50 square meters this is the perfect court to enjoy paintball outdoors if you are a small group. You can hide behind the obstacles that we have prepared to adapt the track and plan strategies to defeat your rivals

• Indoor track: This track is ideal for practicing paintball all year round. You will be able to play a more intense game delimited by a more closed space.

• Outdoor field: the Galicia area is full of slopes, vegetation and other natural obstacles perfect for playing paintball. We have delimited an area of up to 40,000 m2, perfect for large groups that want to enjoy an adventure in the middle of nature.

We like outdoor sports and also conserve nature around us, so you will use biodegradable balls to avoid contaminating the mountain.

In addition, we will also equip you with a camouflage jumpsuit so you can avoid being seen by your rivals and a vest and protective glasses to prevent the balls from hurting you in sensitive areas.

La Coruña is one of the best areas to get lost in among its mountains and forests. You will be able to enjoy the vegetation that will surround you with its greenery and its pure air on our hiking routes

At Naturmaz we are willing to investigate all the routes close to our headquarters in Mazaricos and that is why we will take you to different places:

• Route along the Xallas River and Embalse da Fervenza: you will be able to enjoy one of the largest rivers in the community. Furthermore, if you do this route you can combine a morning of hiking with a more extreme activity in the afternoon such as rafting down the river

• Route along the Costa da Morte: the Galician coast is surprising and never stops revealing secrets, which is why we want to take you on a route that will surprise you at every corner.

• Route to Santiago: you will travel the section of the Jacobean Way that leads to Finisterre. This area is very busy and you will be able to meet other people who will share your passion for nature.

To carry out the hiking routes we need you to come well equipped, you will need comfortable clothing to move easily and above all appropriate footwear to travel the different Galician paths.

Warm clothing and a raincoat are also recommended since this area is prone to rain. Even so, we also urge you to bring protective cream to avoid sunburn in the high mountains.

Horse riding is a sport full of magic due to its involvement with the animal world. At Naturmaz we want you to discover this magical activity with some horseback riding routes through Galicia.

Our horseback riding routes are designed for those who are not professional riders. We will do a riding baptism in which you will learn to control the horse and then take a 15 minute tour through the most incredible areas of Galicia.

We will do the routes in different places:

• Embalse da Fervenza: enjoy an unparalleled landscape while riding on the back of a fully trained horse

• Jacobean Way: for centuries this route has been traveled in all possible ways, doing it on horseback is still one of the most interesting ways since you can achieve a total connection with the environment.

• Costa da Morte: Enjoy beaches and rocky cliffs while you ride your horse. You will be able to enjoy the waves breaking in an exceptional location.

These routes are fully controlled by our instructors, and if you are a professional rider or you like the equestrian world and you usually travel along trails with your horse, you can bring it and come with us to ride through Galicia.

Climbing has many possibilities, from more professional to leisure climbing. Whatever you prefer, we will prepare a route to adapt to you.

With Naturmaz you can do different activities:

• Indoor climbing wall: come to our facilities and enjoy our large climbing wall. You will be able to climb without taking any risk and with our instructors always looking out for you. If it's your first time climbing, the indoor climbing wall is perfect for learning the best techniques.

• Outdoor climbing wall: we have a 12 meter tower that you can climb on routes with different difficulty. You will enjoy a day of outdoor adventure practicing a very special sport

• Trains on the Costa da Morte: the coastal area of Galicia is full of surprises and secrets that you can enjoy from above. You will climb the most surprising walls and you will feel like a true climber.

In addition to vertical ascents, we also offer other types of similar activities such as rappelling, zip lines and Cobra and Tibetan Bridge tours.

Come practice archery with us in our large field. You will be able to shoot at a target located 5, 10 or 20 meters away and even if you want to go beyond it we will move it up to 30 meters .

We have different courses so you can practice:

• Initiation: if you want a first contact or an activity to get closer to archery to test your aim with your friends, this is the best option for you. We will teach you to know the material and the different types of bows and arrows. We will place the target at 18 meters so that you can shoot your arrow and try to aim and reach the center of the target.

• Olympic shooting: if you want to perfect your technique and go further in this sport, we propose this activity in which you will shoot your arrows towards a target located at least 30 meters and reaching a maximum of 90 meters

• Forest Tour: if you want to enjoy archery as if you were a real hunter, we offer you the possibility of doing so on a tour with figures that are shaped like animals throughout the forest. The route varies between 4 and 9 kilometers and you will find the wildest targets at different distances from 5 meters to a maximum of 60 meters

• Flying shooting: this is a very special and somewhat complicated modality but it can still be done even if you have minimal experience. We will shoot at 30 centimeter discs that do not rise more than 50 meters. This activity is perfect to test your aim in a very fun way.

Pedal through the Galician mountains on an all-terrain bicycle and discover a new way of traveling the most difficult paths.

We will take you on different routes according to your preferences:

• Embalse da Fervenza and Río Xallas: with this route you can enjoy a unique river landscape with hundreds of animal species that you will not be able to see anywhere else. You will cross small streams and puddles that the river has left in its wake and you will feel the speed that the mountain bike offers you.

• Costa da Morte: in Galicia there are roads that are difficult to access and can only be reached by certain vehicles such as bicycles. The Costa da Morte is full of hidden places that we will discover with this route.

• Camino de Santiago: live the Jacobean experience on a route full of history, traveling the section that goes from Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre.

In addition to these routes, we propose variations on them, completing them with lunch or dinner in typical restaurants in the area. A great opportunity to regain strength and let yourself be enchanted by Galician food.

The summer holidays are approaching, and with them, the concern that your child has a fun summer that will have him excited for a few days. For this reason, our advice from Naturmaz is what happens next to us, during the days of August in which our multi-adventure camp takes place .

In a situation as exceptional as the one we find ourselves, surrounded by nature in the middle of Costa da Morte , next to the town of Mazaricos and less than an hour from cities like Santiago de Compostela or Coruña , our camp awaits a great surprise ... the aerodrome next to which we develop it!

Designed for young people from 8 to 18 years old , we want the days they spend with us ( from 2 to 7 days ) to be a constant new adventure. We will inhabit the youth hostel with 52 places and different areas where we will give free rein to the imagination and the activities that we have prepared.

A school farm full of animals, a hangar with ultralight-style airplanes, an ecological garden, a Tatami room to develop the most artistic activities on its padded floor ... In addition to the rest of the space where you will find the reservoir, the climbing wall , the suspension bridges circuit or the multi-adventure ship among others.

Our goal is to promote sports and outdoor practices. We will spend the days playing paintball , climbing, trying our luck with archery , doing kayak trips , bathing in the reservoir of the Fervenza, bike routes , taking care of the orchard ... without forgetting the fantastic evenings that await us.

The monitors follow a strict methodology so that the boys have fun in the safest way. These are trained in adventure sports, education and free time, so they will know how to achieve it.
