I had a lovely time at the stables and a beautiful walk on horseback. My instructor was a lovely, kind and patient lady. She let me groom and tack up the horse and after the ride, took me back into the stables to show me how the horse relaxed after the session, with a nice cool shower and an apple as a treat - which I was able to feed to the horse.
