Rucs del Corredor

Rucs del Corredor is a donkey conservation center, in which, since 1996, we have been striving for the recovery of this species.

The objective is to ensure the continuity of these breeds, promoting this beautiful animal through various programs.

If you visit us, you will get to know the donkeys up close while having fun. Of course, one of the main activities that we carry out are the routes on the back of donkeys .

In addition, we organize special educational programs for schools. We have been carrying them out for more than a decade.

Another alternative activity that we offer is special therapy for people with disabilities , through contact with the burritos.

If you prefer to go on foot, we can do a hiking route in which one of the donkeys will accompany us, as a carrier, while we visit 7 different farmhouses around Canyamars, a great excursion.

The little ones can also help us take care of the donkeys, brush them, take a ride in a cart and draw a picture of the animal.

In Rucs del Corredor , the activities are many, but in all of them we will show our love for donkeys. Join us!

Our center is specialized in activities related to donkeys , always fighting for the conservation of this species. Therefore, we can offer you a fantastic plan, accompanied by these fantastic animals.

For example, we can put you to the test, to see if you are able to get your donkey driver license . It is an activity that is done with a minimum of 20 participants and no more than 60 (if there are more, we will make several groups).

Another alternative is a hiking route to the 7 farmhouses , in Canyamars. In this case, the burritos will accompany us as carriers, along the 10-kilometer route.

We will arrange lunch for you at a nearby restaurant .

They are fantastic activities for a company event , in a formidable natural environment such as the P.N. del Montnegre and Corredor, and in the company of some fantastic animals, that will make you fall in love.

The Rucs del Corredor hiking trails are not customary trails. We want to make them much more special!

For this reason, we propose an itinerary through the 7 farmhouses of Canyamars , in which we will take a very special companion: a carrying donkey, as merchants and travelers used to carry on the roads.

It is a route of about 10 kilometers , overcoming a total unevenness of 183 meters. The difficulty, therefore, is very low. Suitable for the whole family!

We will be accompanied by a donkey for every 4 participants . You will take our backpacks and, if necessary, you can take a child, if you are too tired to continue walking.

The only thing you need to do the route is to bring comfortable shoes , suitable for the mountains, lunch, water and protection for the sun.

In Rucs del Corredor you can live a beautiful experience, doing a donkey excursion through the Canyamars forests.

Our center is designed for the protection of this species , so it will not be simply a walk, but we will talk to you about the dangers that threaten donkeys, the care we give them and what we can all do to help these noble animals.

We will walk along the forest and crops, quiet areas and without slopes. A professional will always accompany you.

Being easy routes, they are suitable for all ages. If you come with children under 4 years old, they will go with an adult on one of the donkeys.

For children , we also offer other alternatives, such as a circuit walk, while a monitor leads the donkey on a rope. We can also do a special activity in which we teach them to brush them, take care of them, draw them, etc. Kids love it!

If you want to celebrate an event with us, you can rent a picnic area on our premises. We have a special surprise for the protagonist of the event!
